A Letter From Carboline President and COO Christopher Tiernay

March 17, 2020

Dear Valued Customers,

As the coronavirus situation is fluid and changing daily, I thought it important to communicate Carboline's state of readiness to service your needs. While taking all the necessary precautions to protect our customers and staff as well as support our communities in the fight against the virus, we are open for business.

Currently, our company has zero confirmed cases of the virus anywhere globally. Our plants in Lake Charles, LA; Green Bay, WI; Dayton, NV and Louisa VA are working their normal number of shifts with no current plans to change. As of today, we have no known raw material issues in terms of availability or supply. Our supply chain is in full swing from Plants to Distribution Centers to Service Centers with no issue end to end. We do have one Service Center that has been ordered closed by their local government’s "shelter in place" order. Service to Canada and Mexico continues as restrictions to date are non-commercial in nature.

I fully recognize conditions change daily, but as of today we are near 100% functionality. It is our goal to remain open for business while continuing to protect our customers and employees.

Thank you for your support of Carboline, our people and our brands.

Best Regards,

Christopher Tiernay
President & COO
